Student Group Accountability Review Board Policy

Recognized student groups at Columbia University are expected to uphold the University’s values of integrity, accountability, and community responsibility. Student groups must operate in accordance with University and school policies and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive campus environment. When a student group’s actions violate these standards, the behavior may impact the broader community and will be addressed through the Student Group Accountability Review Board (SGARB) process, an educational, peer-supported process designed to determine responsibility and promote learning and compliance with University expectations.
